Well, I guess the High School Musical 3 cast are not kids anymore. Shooting a very risque photo session in Details Magazine, Vanessa Hudgens has jumped the clean cut style to reveal a fair amount of skin for their next issue coming out on March 15th.
With all types of poses from getting showered with water, lying seductively on a bed and wearing black lingerie she's definitely trying to build an edge to her image. In a recent interview in the New York Post she noted, "After the Oscars we were at Madonna's party. Quentin Tarantino was there, and I was talking to him for a while, probably after a few drinks, and I told him, 'We've gotta do something together.' And he was like, 'I would love to. That would be really great.' Slowly, I've gained balls."
Vanessa's name is well known but has dropped in monetary value with no real hits to call out other than the hit HSM series. With 'Sucker Punch' and this shoot she's making a valiant attempt. Guess the innocent Gabriela Montez would not be saying this - "Spraying Evian bottles on my chest and my arms and my forehead, but mostly my chest. Just to look like I'm sweating. But your b**bs don't really sweat, cleavage doesn't sweat."
It is a shame but does everyone have to grow up so fast?

Chinese version of 歌舞青春 out August 12th (Yep, HSM)
Why would the famous comedian Guo Degang play the father of a Bolton or Montez in a Chinese version of High School Musical( 歌舞青春). The answer is because it will be debuting on August 12!
Using the original "High School Musical" concept (Disney's most successful film ever made), the Chinese version has a similar plot of a singing contest in a school that drives the students to realize their musical dreams.
The film will use scenes from the lives of young Chinese mixed with dance styles presented through inspiring songs.
The actors in the leading roles attended a press conference in Beijing Tuesday.

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure
Did we ever think that Sharpay would exist past High School Musical 3? Think again! Ashley Tisdale is back in her role again as Disney has announced an all-new Original Movie, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure!
The president of entertainment at Disney Channel Worldwide, Gary Marsh, said recently, "In Sharpay, Ashley Tisdale brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters we've seen in years. This movie captures the absolutely perfect next chapter in Sharpay's life, as she tries to cultivate the humanity buried, deep, deep within her - a challenging and hilarious endeavor."
The proposed plot is that Sharpay is discovered by a talent scout at a charity event and heads for Broadway in New York hoping to be discovered and make it to the big time. But, the competition is much tougher than she planned when she competes on "So You Think You're America's Most Talented Performing Idol."
Vanessa Hudgens noted, "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is going to be amazing. Kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay, too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It's so much fun, so I'm really glad she’s doing it."
Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is scheduled to start filming this summer and premiere on Disney Channel in 2011. I would bet that maybe Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron or any of the rest of the High School Musical cast may make a guest appearance. Time will tell!

Me and Orson Welles Zac Efron
What do Troy Bolton and Link Larkin have in common? They're both Richard Samuels in Zac Efron's new movie 'Me and Orson Welles'. "It is a coming of age story about this guy who talks his way into an adaptation of Orson Welles' Julius Caesar at New York's Mercury Theater. It's a look in the life of Orson Welles at that moment," noted Efron who's looking to move beyond the teenage persona of High School Musical 3 fame.
Although the character, Richard, is primarily fiction, director Richard Linklater noted that there was a young man in Orson Welles life who was involved in a production of Julius Caeser that he produced. "So much of this did happen. It's based in history but technically fiction," said Linklater. The script is based on an actual novel with the same title written by Robert Kaplow. Linklater has also directed such movies as 'Dazed and Confused' and 'School of Rock.'
With so much awareness of Orson Welles being promoted by the movie, Film Education in the UK has put together a study guide for 'Me and Orson Welles' that explores in detail the historical background of the film and the different ideas it contains.
It features study materials and film clips designed to stimulate debate, discussion and reflection on Orson Welles, Shakespeare, performance, theatrical production and filmmaking.
The study guide addresses core elements of learning in English, Media, Film and Theatre Studies. The materials are most suitable for students aged 14-18.

Zac Efron - His Career, Relationship and More
Is it possible that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are still as strong a relationship as ever? No, reports US Magazine. They noted that the over three year relationship was soon to come to an end even though insiders report this to be false.
"Things are going well with them. And they are both happy," reports an insider. "They spent months together up in Vancouver, where they are both filming movies."
In a recent interview, Zac Efron noted "I'm doing the same things as my friends in college – working, studying, trying to have fun whenever possible but usually getting pulled back into work". When asked about recent competition with Robert Patterson he said, "It's great because now I don't get so much female attention."
Currently working on the film 'The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud' Efron feels that moving on from High School Musical 3 fame to a career like Leonardo DiCaprio would be great. "I was dead set against the guy when I was growing up, kind of force-fed his image from Titanic....Since then, through very hard work and incredible performances, he's done a complete 180 turn."

Vanessa Hudgens Nude Photos Scandal Interview in Allure
Allure Magazine recently published an interview with Vanessa Hudgens where she talks specifically about her nude photo scandal and the desire to get more adult roles in film.
When naked pictures surfaced in 2007 of Hudgens she quickly apologized and tried to distance herself from the scandal. Feeling violated and overly scrutinized, she hopes that others won't have to deal with these kinds of pressures.
Pick up a copy of Allure Magazine to read the full intervew. Here is their cool photoshoot of her: Vanessa Hudgens Photo Shoot She claims she's 'still not used to her new bangs'.

Ashley Tisdale Talks About Her Future
The Associated Press (AP) recently interviewed Ashley Tisdale about her recent projects, star pressure, image, and future in High School Musical. She recently premiered the movie 'Aliens in the Attic' but feels the need to stay the course with her HSM3 fans.
Creating a new character in different projects has its challenges, "I wouldn't be there if it wasn't for those projects, but I feel that dyeing my hair back to its original hair color, this is originally what I look like ... and it does separate me from that, in a way, because everybody really knows me as the blond bubbly character, and this is a different side."
Ashley seems to keep the focus on staying in her usual roles, "I'm not someone who is going to do a 180. If anything, I know I look young, so I’m still going to be in high school (in movies), but I think the projects would have to be a little bit more mature if it’s in a high school environment. ... I’m really into comedy, and I love making people laugh, so I will definitely go in that direction for a little bit, and then maybe some drama, because I love drama, as well, and people haven’t seen me do drama ... but I’m not going too dark yet — that’s not me."

Vanessa Hudgens - Stripping?
Hey, just yesterday Vanessa Hudgens was in Boston promoting and judging a Bandslam competition. Ah, 'Bandslam', which is her newest venture debuts in theaters in just two weeks. Hanging out with her co-star, Gaelan Connell, they were at Burlington Mall judging the singing in which the winner will get a photo shoot with them!!
Coming up for Vanessa is the next film call 'Sucker Punch' which includes a scene stripping - she tells E! Online, "Right now, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time's right, if it's an amazing movie that I'm really passionate about and that's what it calls for, then we'll see."
Looks like the time is coming - ahhhh, they are growing up!!!
