A common question that people search for all the time. So, Vanessa Hudgens was born in Salinas, CA on December 14, 1988. As of this posting she is 22 years old.

She recently celebrated her 22nd birthday in Las Vegas with High School Musical friend, Ashley Tisdale.

Chinese version of 歌舞青春 out August 12th (Yep, HSM)

Why would the famous comedian Guo Degang play the father of a Bolton or Montez in a Chinese version of High School Musical( 歌舞青春). The answer is because it will be debuting on August 12!
Using the original "High School Musical" concept (Disney's most successful film ever made), the Chinese version has a similar plot of a singing contest in a school that drives the students to realize their musical dreams.

The film will use scenes from the lives of young Chinese mixed with dance styles presented through inspiring songs.

The actors in the leading roles attended a press conference in Beijing Tuesday.

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure

Did we ever think that Sharpay would exist past High School Musical 3? Think again! Ashley Tisdale is back in her role again as Disney has announced an all-new Original Movie, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure!

The president of entertainment at Disney Channel Worldwide, Gary Marsh, said recently, "In Sharpay, Ashley Tisdale brought to life one of the most memorable comedic characters we've seen in years. This movie captures the absolutely perfect next chapter in Sharpay's life, as she tries to cultivate the humanity buried, deep, deep within her - a challenging and hilarious endeavor."

The proposed plot is that Sharpay is discovered by a talent scout at a charity event and heads for Broadway in New York hoping to be discovered and make it to the big time. But, the competition is much tougher than she planned when she competes on "So You Think You're America's Most Talented Performing Idol."

Vanessa Hudgens noted, "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is going to be amazing. Kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay, too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It's so much fun, so I'm really glad she’s doing it."

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure is scheduled to start filming this summer and premiere on Disney Channel in 2011. I would bet that maybe Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron or any of the rest of the High School Musical cast may make a guest appearance. Time will tell!

Zac Efron - What a Deal!

Zac Efron has done it again - besides being the superstar in the last 3 High School Musical movies, he has just signed a deal with Warner Brothers to start producing films.  Producing?  Yes, Zac can now develop new film ideas and continue to grow his influence in Hollywood.

Variety magazine noted that he has a 2 year deal with Warner Brothers and is the youngest ever to sign such a deal at 22 years old. Making the studio $136 million with '17 Again', Zac is well on his way!
