Disney has confirmed that High School Musical 4 is now in the works! "We are writing 'High School Musical 4,' " Disney Channel Worldwide president Rich Ross said Tuesday after a presentation at a midtown Manhattan recording studio.
However, it is not known who or what part of the cast will come back for the 2009 HSM4. "Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not," Ross said. "Will we have some of them? I hope so."
"We have learned that just putting a number next to a title is a very old idea," Ross said. "We have to have a new story."
Let's hope it happens!

id love for there to be a HSM 4 but its not gonna be the same without the original cast. They have to come back or i dont think its gonna have the same effect.
Most likely they are not going to be back and how are they going to be in high school musical without them graduating unless they flunk everyone to have another year
